It was bound to happen. 50 Cent got out-shined by yet another labelmate and the trouble starts.  With the release of “Curtis”, even 50 had to re-think his song selection and go back in the past rob Milk and Giz for the “I Get Money” sample.  Recall RealTalk, before the single,”I Get Money”, the lead single was that corney “Amusement Park”.  Even with his album dropping, fans were still buzzing off of Yung Buck’s “Buck the World”. Who didn’t go crazy in the club when those Polow drums came in on “Get Buck”?

Fast forward…we’ve all heard the conversation between Buck and Fiddy .Well, according to the streets, JImmy Henchmen of Czar Entertainment has reached out to Buck offering aid that he clearly needs.  Managing artist from all genres, he and his company Czar Entertainment have brought over 20 years of expertise, music management, film development, programming, and production in the entertainment industry. He’s also the guy that backed his artist The Game when he decided to take on 50 Cent, who was then “the” rapper to beat.  The Game not only defeated 50 in lyrical combat, he also  went on to rally the now famous G-Unot slogan.

The Game spoke on the Buck and 50 Cent beef blatenly in a recent HIP HOP DX interview “All 50 cares about is himself, he don’t care about Buck, he don’t care about Yayo, he don’t care about Banks. He didn’t give a f— about me. [Former G-Unit Records president] Sha Money —him and Sha Money ain’t really talking. 50 says they cool but they ain’t really cool.I’m just saying, why n—as over there don’t keep it real? If you don’t f— with a n—a, just tell him. Let him know instead of making money off of him.”  

At any rate, once rated the underdog in his massive beef with G-Unit leader Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, The Game has gone on to not only hold his own within the feud, but also, amist the beef was able to create one of hip hop’s staple and historical diss-songs, 300 Bars.

Which raises the question, will Young Buck be able to do the same? It may just be possible…check out his response right here.  While the diss song was expected, it definitely wasn’t a 300 Bars performance. Should Buck consider Henchmen’s offer?

One more question, now that G-Unit has no Game and no Buck, will the empire gradually crumble? 50 has officially pushed away all diversity from the label, no Westcoast, no Dirty South, and no R & B (Olivia is done, by the way.) So what’s next for G-G-G-G? And what the hell happened to MOP?

NEW YORK-(10/17) In light of the recent federal gun charges with well known rapper TI whose real name is Clifford Harris; police have decided to re-open investigations on other entertainers with pending violations.  According to a source close to source close to the investigation, beleaguered rap star 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) and his longtime advisor Christ Lighty, CEO of Violator Management and Brand Asset Marketing, are the target of an inquiry by FBI and NYPD homicide detectives who believe that the recording artist and his manager may be aiding and abetting a key person of interest in the murder of Israel Ramirez who was gunned down in Brooklyn during a dispute at a music video shoot in February of last year.  They are also suspected of having coerced potential witnesses not to cooperate in an attempt to cover up for the probable suspect who authorities believe was on the payroll of Violator Management at the time of the shooting.  It has been insinuated that the alleged assailant is a hired thug working for Violator artist Tony Yayo (Marvin Bernard) who was recently indicted for assaulting the 14 year old son of James Rosemond, one of Chris Lighty’s business rivals-purportedly for wearing his dad’s company t-shirt (Czar Entertainment) while walking past the Violator headquarters, which are less than a block away from his father’s office in Manhattan’s Chelsea District.  It is alleged that Bernard’s bodyguard was present during the assault where he pulled a gun on the teenager and that he may also be the triggerman in a shooting that occurred in front of WQHT FM (Hot 97) during an argument between Jackson and another rapper. Bernard’s gunman and bodyguard, Robert (Dead Eye) Baley was recently taken into custody due to a multi-million dollar drug sweep in New York City.    Since the incident, police have posted security cameras directly in front of the entrance to the building that houses Light’s Violator Management and Brand Asset Marketing at 36 W. 25 Street.  Once known as a professional place of employment, the building is now a magnet for gunfire and drive-by shootings since the company moved into the facility. Ironically, Ramirez was the bodyguard of Violator artist Busta Rhymes (Trevor Smith).  It has also been rumored that sources believe the murder was fueled by involvement of persons from within the organization.  Both Smith and Lighty have refused to cooperate with investigators since the slaying of Ramirez last year.  The tragedy fueled an entire “STOP SNITCHING” movement that has most recently been shunned by hip hop leaders such as FunkMaster Flex who have called attention to senseless killings in the hip hop community and have demanded a call to action. 

According to reports, the killing of Ramirez last February was sparked by an argument between Bernard and a rival producer.  Though Smith initially said that he was inside at the time of the shooting, police believe he was outside, near the murder scene.  Bernard’s lawyer said that his client has not and will not speak to police about the incident.  Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly has threatened to call a grand jury investigation and force witnesses to testify.

According to the Daily News, one of 50 Cent’s G-Unit “soldiers” has been caught red-handed in a major New York City drug bust. Blood Leader Robert (Dead Eye) Baley, was busted for drugs earlier this month during a routine NYPD gang sweep. Despite recent admission from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson that The Game is a great rapper, and his numerous attempt to contact The Game to spit on his latest lackluster album, the West coast rapper respectfully decline.

 With the success of Game’s most recent Doctor’s Advocate, it’s no wonder why 50 wants to piggyback off the buzz of the West Coast champion.  50 has most recently tried to gain momentum by sampling the Audio Two’s “Top Billin’”, after a less than average performance on his first single, Amusement Park (See in RealTalk Blog’s Vodpod).

In an act of despiration, 50 decided to reach out to former lablemate The Game, whom the New York Times has described as the artist that delivered the best hip hop album of 2006. (see link for the article below)…[next to that nigga TI...says RealTalkBlog]

However, Game ain’t having it; besides, after 300 Bars, it’s obvious that the G-Unit General is bound to get outshined on his own sh*t, anyway.  (Hate it or Love it….that’s REALTALK!)

Marvin Bernard (37), also known as Tony Yayo of G-Unity, has reportedly reconsidered accepting a plea bargin offered by the prosecution in his current assault case with a minor. 

According to the AP; Yayo was arrested in March and charged with misdemeanor assault, harassment and endagering the welfare of a child. The [14 year-old-]child stated he was slapped by Yayo near his father’s Czar Entertainment offices in Manhattan. Following this, Yayo posted $5,000 bail.

Local supporters of the Mothers Against Violence initiatives are outraged that hip hop has now turned violent on young children.  Community leaders in parts of Pittsburg, Newark, and Brooklyn, are discussing the possibilty of rallying a demonstration to express disdain for the recent lack of a harsher punishment for Yayo’s violent behavior against a minor. 

While Yayo initially rejected the plea bargin, he is now reconsidering the offer.   The rapper’s attorney, Scott Leemon was not available for comment.  The case has been adjourned until September 6th.

Industry sources have leaked information that G-Unit’s sole dirty south representative may be making making moves to sign with industry powerhouse Czar Entertainment.  After various rumors regarding 50 Cent’s hostility towards Young Buck, Olivia, and other G-Unit roster members, some of the artists have decided to take their careers in their own hands.

According to a Hot 97 interview, and most recently, an interview in XXL, 50 went into detail about how his kindness and generosity as a label owner had been exploited.  Outside viewers, however, have criticized the hip hop mogul for fueling his own success, but not being fit to fuel the success of the artists on his own label.  With artists such as Mobb Deep not being able to achieve platinum status, and the recent disappointing performances of Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo; G-Unit as a label has proved to be more successful to it’s owner than to it’s artists.  The only artists that have ever given solid performances on the G-Unit roster include The Game (now no longer affiliated with G-Unit) and Young Buck (whose affiliation is in question).

Word is that the King of Cashville has proved to be one of G-Unit’s hottest commodities next to 50.   With support throughout the entire southern region, it’s obvious that Young Buck’s success will outshine his current label affiliation.  As 50 said himself, ‘Buck is his own man’; and as his own man, Buck has outperformed all his label-mates and has managed to create a following ON HIS OWN, without hanging on the coattail of his boss.  So, maybe now it’s time for Buck to move on and Buck the World!  By making a power move to Czar Entertainment, Buck would join the ranks of artists such as Rick Ross, Smitty, Shyne, The Game, Mario Winans, and Gucci Mane…all of whom have outsold his current label-mate’s most recent performances.  Real niggas do real things…and that’s REALTALK.
